Hi, Sharon! A visit to the Disney Parks sure sounds like a great idea! I'll be your guide through the pricing of a ticket to the Disney Parks!
The first important piece of information to know is that there are two price-ranges for theme park tickets. The first-price range is for children ages 3-to-9 years-old. The second price-range is for any person 10-years-old or older. Children 2-years-old and younger do not need an admission ticket to enter the Disney Parks!
The next piece of information to be aware of is that ticket prices for the Disney Parks fluctuate by how in demand the parks are during any given time of the year. Tickets are more expensive when the Disney Parks are in high demand. For example, ticket prices are higher during summer and the Christmas holiday season. Prices are lower when the Disney Parks tend to be less in demand. These times usually occur either immediately before or after a holiday or summertime.
There is a
very helpful theme park ticket-pricing calendar provided on the Walt Disney World Resort website. The calendar will display day-to-day ticket pricing. The price displayed will automatically show admission cost for an adult ticket. Once you begin your ticket selection, you will be able to identify how many tickets are for people ages 3-to-9 years-old and how many are for people 10 and older.
Sharon, don't forget that you can also create a Walt Disney World Resort vacation package that includes a stay at a hotel in the
Disney Resorts Collection and theme park tickets! You might even be able to take advantage of some
money-saving special offers!
