Welcome to
planDisney, Ellen!
I am a planner, so I love your question about pricing of standard grocery items while touring
Walt Disney World as well as
Walt Disney World Resort hotels. So smart!
Our last stay was at
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, so while there, we tend to pick up easy breakfast items at
The Artist's Palette, a grab 'n' go location that includes Quick-Service dining as well as groceries, gifts, and more. Currently, their breakfast menu features pricing, listing bagels for $3.49, Mickey-shaped Waffles served with Bacon for $8.79 (kids' size is $6.69 and includes bacon, grapes and milk or a small DASANI water), fresh fruit for $2.29, and coffee for $3.29. A bottle of smartwater is currently $5.50, whereas DASANI Bottled Water is $3.50, and Saratoga Spring Water is $3.25. Should you like a little sparkle in your water, Saratoga Sparkling Spring Water is $3.25. Pricing and offerings at other Walt Disney World Resort hotels will be similar, with the exception of Saratoga Spring Water offerings; those are resort-specific.
If you enjoy either hot beverages with your morning meal, or even a fountain beverage to refresh your palate after a fun-filled day in the parks, I recommend purchasing a Refillable Mug at the start of your stay. Currently, this mug is $19.99 (one of our favorite souvenirs from each trip), and can be refilled at Quick-Service locations at any Disney Resort hotel throughout the length of your stay. It's a great deal if you see yourself having multiple beverages while at the resort--and a great reminder of your magical vacation once you return home, too.
As you plan your practically perfect in every way stay, Ellen, be sure to send us additional questions. We love to help!
