What are prices like during March? Is that an off season? How are crowds during March?

    Hi Caitlin!

Disney World uses a seasonal schedule for their pricing.  For 2013, February 24- March 7 is considered "regular" season where prices will be their normal rates.  March 8-April 6 is considered "Peak" season, due to all of the spring break visitors.  Prices during those times will be higher than normal.

There is actually a website devoted to predicting crowd levels at Disney.  (www.touringplans.com)  The first week of March is predicted to be pretty low.  After that the crowds are supposed to be around 8-10 out of 10 for the rest of the month.  It is a busy season with schools being out for spring breaks.  It is still a great time to go, but if your schedule is flexible, you may want to go in an off-season.  (Google "price seasons at Disney World") and you will find links to a complete list.

One of my favorite benefits of homeschooling my boys has been the ability to go to Disney World in the off-seasons.  Not only are the crowds lower, but the prices and temperatures are too!

Please let me know if I can help you in any other way!
