    prices of the dining plans

    Hi Donna,

Thanks for posting your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.  I am a huge fan of the Disney Dining Plan.  My family uses it as often as possible during our Disney vacations.  We love it because it is easy to use and it has saved us untold sums of money on dining expenses over the years.

Unfortunately, there is no simple answer to your question.  Prices for the Disney Dining Plan depend, of course, on the type of plan you choose.  For instance, the Quick Service Dining Plan is much less expensive than the Deluxe Dining Plan as the Deluxe Plan is far more inclusive.  Prices will also vary based on your time of travel.  The Plan is more expensive during peak travel seasons.  Therefore, the best way to get an accurate response to your question is to speak to a Disney-savvy travel agent or put together a Disney vacation package online with your specific dates of travel.  If you put together a reservation that includes park tickets and a hotel room, note the price.  Then add the Disney Dining Plan option of your choice.  The difference between those numbers will give you the exact cost of the Plan for your travel party.  You can also check out the prices posted on allears.net, an unofficial Disney fan site.  Once you locate their homepage, simply search "2012 Disney Dining Plan."

I would also suggest that you follow the special offers page at www.disneyworld.com so that you can catch any possible free dining promotions that might be released.  That's a truly incredible way to experience the Disney Dining Plan.

    Best wishes,
    Jill
