    Prices for an annual pass

    Hello and welcome, John. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question about Walt Disney World Annual Passes. 

    I'm actually not able to give you updated pricing on annual passes, John. Since the reopening of Walt Disney World last summer, the sale of new annual passes has been temporarily suspended. I don't think the program is going anywhere, however. Guests that have current annual passes are able to renew for next year at this time which is why I think it is here to stay. If you are interested in becoming a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder, keep checking for an announcement over on the Disney Parks Blog for more information. 

    At this time, there are two theme park ticket options for you to purchase. You can purchase a standard theme park ticket that includes entry into one Walt Disney World Theme Park per day. The other option is the park hopper option. Park hoping is where you're able to visit multiple Walt Disney World Theme Parks in one day. I can't give you exact pricing on these tickets either because Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets are date-based. This means that the price of the ticket fluctuates depending on the time of year. Holidays and weekends tend to be more expensive than let's say midweek. So the price will vary depending on when you want to go. Feel free to play around on the Walt Disney World website to see pricing for the type of ticket and the number of days you'd like to visit.

    In addition to Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets, to visit the Walt Disney World Theme Parks right now you'll also need to make park pass reservations. Park pass reservations are basically like a virtual placeholder in line at the theme park you'd like to visit each day. The Walt Disney World Theme Parks are still limiting the number of people who can come each day and park pass reservations are a great way to control the number of people at each park.

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
