Hey there, Kristan!
Thanks for reaching out to us here at planDisney! We're here to help and happy to answer your vacation planning questions.
Planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation can be exciting and fun. I think you'll find that each part of the planning process -- choosing your Resort accommodations, selecting your theme park tickets, making your dining plans, and adding magical extras here and there -- will rev up your imagination as you begin to picture yourself and your vacationing Mouseketeers taking in all the experiences. As you go through your planning, be sure to come back to us here at planDisney with new questions you have.
Getting some general ideas for pricing out a trip is super easy with the online vacation package planning tools on the Walt Disney World Resort website. The planning tools will take you step-by-step through all the important parts of the creating a vacation package that best suits you. The tools will also show your vacation pricing as you go. What I find really helpful is the feature that lets you save a vacation package and compare it to other vacation packages you create. That way, you can see which vacation package is a best fit for you.
You can start pricing out your vacation package by clicking on the "
Book your Walt Disney World Vacation today" button and entering a few quick details about your trip: your vacation check-in and check-out dates and the number of adults and children in your vacation party. You'll see a list of suggested Resorts, and you can filter the list to see Resorts by location, price range, and Resort category. Each of the Resorts offers its own distinct vacation vibe, and you're sure to see a Resort destination that calls to you.
After you select your Resort and room accommodations, the vacation package tools will prompt you to add theme park tickets. As a general tip, I always encourage at least four days for experiencing the theme parks, and I'm big fan of the Park Hopper option that allows you to visit more than one theme park in the same day.
With the Resort and theme park tickets selected, you'll have a good idea of your vacation pricing so far. Next, you'll want to think about dining. The
Walt Disney World restaurants and reservations tool will show you the many options for all the amazing food experiences that you can enjoy.
I think you'll find the online vacation package planning tools easy to use for planning and pricing a trip to Walt Disney World Resort. You can also get help with vacation packages by calling Walt Disney World Resort directly at (407) 939-1936.
