Hi there, Eknoor! Welcome back to planDisney! You are just going to love spending the day at the Happiest Place on Earth. Magic, enchantment, thrills, and, of course, hugs with Mickey himself are all here waiting for you!
When it comes to
ticket pricing, it can depend on the type of ticket you are interested in and the date that you are planning to visit. I'm happy to walk through these options with you! While the Disneyland Resort currently does not offer student discounts specifically, I always like to check the "
Offers and Discounts" section of the website to see if any special deals are running when I'm planning for my visit!
Ok let's get back to the tickets and take a look at your options:
One Park Per Day Tickets
As their name suggests, these tickets grant you access to a full day at either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park. If you are planning to visit for one day on May 30th, the cost of the ticket is currently $149, but note that pricing is always subject to change. Pricing can also vary by day of the week. When you are purchasing your ticket, you will be asked to select a specific date and you will be able to see pricing for all the dates available beforehand. Park HopperA Park Hopper ticket allows you to visit both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park in one day. When you purchase your ticket, you will be asked to select the park where you will start your day and then you will be able to hop between the two as much as you like after 1 p.m. until closing. If you are visiting for one day, a Park Hopper is generally an additional $60 on top of the cost of the One Park Per Day Ticket. In our example for May 30th, your ticket would cost $209, with pricing always subject to change.
If you are considering a multi-day ticket, you will be able to play around in the ticket purchase process to see pricing for each scenario based on the number of days you are planning to visit. The cost per day does start to decrease as you add days to your trip, meaning a 2-day One Park Per Day ticket is not double the cost of the 1-day ticket. It's currently showing it to be $255 for a 2-day One Park Per Day ticket, subject to change. We like to call this Disney math and often use it to justify adding on a day or two! Sometimes, you just need an extra dose of magic!
When you purchase your ticket, you will also be asked to make a
theme park reservation. This holds your spot in a particular park on a particular day and is required along with your ticket. If you are purchasing on the Disneyland website, you will be prompted to make the reservation as part of the purchase, so you will be all set! I would go ahead and purchase tickets soon as I know the
May reservation calendar is starting to fill up and reservations are subject to availability!
I'm so excited about your visit! Your timing could not be more perfect. The return of the nighttime spectacular
Fantasmic! will debut on the Rivers of America on May 28th! You will not want to miss this show! It's a favorite for adults and kids alike as you travel through Mickey's dream and meet some familiar characters along the way!
Eknoor, I sure hope this was helpful! Come back to see us again here at
planDisney if you have any more questions!
See ya real soon!
