What is the price range of Ring Carvers in the Mexico Pavilion. I’ve seen posts saying $12-$600 and one from 2010 I believe. But I was curious the current price range for each metal option? Thank you for your time.

Hey there Cameron, and welcome to planDisney!

It sounds like you're in search of a special souvenir on your next Walt Disney World Resort visit, and I personally prefer anything that can be customized like the metal Initial Rings that can be carved within 2 hours at EPCOT or even at Disney Springs. I find myself passing by frequently thinking of clever words or designs that will fit, and on a recent World Showcase shopping journey (for research of course) I took careful note of the pricing as I went along. While offerings and prices are subject to change without prior notice, here's what was currently available in 2024 to purchase from the Ring Carvers outside of La Hacienda de San Angel

    • Solid Brass had the most affordable base options available for $19.00 and $25.00 at the present time, depending on the width of the ring. (On the form provided by El Ranchito Del Norte that you have to fill out when ordering one of these rings, they specifically noted the following: "Brass Rings may tarnish quickly. Please ask a host or hostess for care instructions.")
    • Solid Sterling Silver rings seemed to be some of the most popular choices, with varying widths currently priced from $39.00-$79.00.
    • Solid 14K Gold offerings were a significant jump, with prices presently ranging from $239.00-$599.00 for one of the priciest and most precious little souvenirs you can get in all of EPCOT!
At the time of writing, it currently costs an additional $1.00 for each letter that you'll want carved into your base ring, along with designs that are priced upwards from $3.00 that included things like hearts or footballs. I personally recommend heading here sooner in the day or just before sitting down to enjoy a meal, so that you can make the most of your time in EPCOT as you wait for it to be completed. Alternatively, it's also very fascinating to watch the Ring Carvers at work as they carefully saw and file down the metal - especially if you can hear the musical talents of Mariachi Cobre in the background. Hope this helps, Cameron - come back to us here at planDisney for anything else that we can provide our insight or information on ahead of your next Disney adventure!

Wishing you all the best on your quest for a custom carved ring!
