what is the price for kids under 3 years old?

Hiya, Darcey, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your Disneyland Resort adventures will be here before you know it!

I’m happy to report that children under the age of 3 don’t need a ticket to enter Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park! The ticket pricing structure starts with ages 3-9, and then jumps to ages 10+. I have heard of parents of especially tall toddlers bringing their children’s birth certificates just to be safe, but identification or proof of age isn’t required. I have had a Cast Member ask for my child’s age upon entering the Main Entrance turnstiles, just to verify that he didn’t require a ticket. As soon as I provided his birthdate, we were on our way.

Since you’re traveling with a little Mouseketeer, I recommend getting familiar with the Baby Care Centers, located inside each theme park. You can find the Disney California Adventure Park Baby Care Center on Pacific Wharf, just behind Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop. In Disneyland Park, you’ll find the Baby Care Center at the end of Main Street, U.S.A., near First Aid. Inside these Centers, you can nurse, feed, or change your little one in a comfortable setting. There’s also a handy vending machine filled with baby-care items, such as diapers, wipes, and even sunscreen!

The Disneyland Resort also offers single and double stroller rentals should you need one during your vacation. Strollers are available on a first-come, first-served basis each day. The single is a jogging-style stroller, while the double is a tandem-style stroller. Both offer your child a nice break during a busy Disney day! I recommend tying a balloon or ribbon around your stroller handle to help you find it in the Stroller Parking areas.

Lastly, here’s the Entertainment Schedule for your arrival date, so you can start mapping out the magic now! Be sure to download the Disneyland app, too – it’s a great handy helper in the parks. My family enjoys using it to check wait times, find Characters, make dining reservations, and even mobile order food ahead of time – which is my favorite perk of the app!

Please stop by with any additional planning questions you may have… I’m all EARs!
