How much is the price of the inflatable park at blue lagoon if you book the excursion?

    Hi Ashley,

Welcome aboard planDisney! I’m excited to hear you’re headed to the beautiful islands of the Bahamas with Disney Cruise Line for an amazing vacation. My family really enjoyed our day at Blue Lagoon Island during our port visit to Nassau, Bahamas last year. I’m happy to share what you can expect on this quintessential island day together! You’ll gather as a group and take a fun boat ride to the island, passing the iconic Atlantis Paradise Island and many stunning celebrity homes along the way. The color of the water here is breathtaking – my favorite shades of turquoise and blues!

There are several Port Adventures that take you to the Blue Lagoon, with varying experiences included to enjoy once on the island. My family did the Blue Lagoon Island Beach Day (N44) and other Port Adventures include animal encounters. When you arrive at the island, there is a stand just at the end of the path from the dock where you can purchase a la carte water sports experiences. I have a photo from our visit last year, but please know that prices are subject to change. In 2022, the inflatable water park add-on was $20 US Dollars per person for the day, and the stand accepted both US cash and credit cards for payment. My husband and son really enjoyed these inflatables, which are more difficult to conquer than they first seem! We have a lot of fun action camera footage from their attempts to climb, jump, splash, and crawl on the larger-than-life obstacles. Please know a life vest is required for all ages enjoying this fun water playground (available at the stand). I liked that the inflatables were located near the shore, so I could see them and enjoy the fun from my lounge chair relaxing with a topical drink.

Blue Lagoon has a calm primary beach to enjoy where you can snorkel (equipment also available to rent at the stand), splash, and play safely protected by the rocks that form the cove creating this Blue Lagoon oasis. The other side of the island has a beach that is exposed to the sea with stunning views but the water is subject to the weather and tends to be a little rougher than the protected cove. You’ll enjoy an included delicious hot lunch buffet with island favorites and familiar classic entrees, sides, and dessert. Alcoholic drinks are an additional cost (they accept US cash and credit cards), and I found the bartenders to be delightful and welcoming as they served their delicious tropical libations. Later in the afternoon, an energetic DJ led the crowd in some dancing, games, and music trivia which made for a fun memory on the beach together.

I hope this information has you excited for a special beach day together at Blue Lagoon, Ashley! Remembering our trip certainly has me dreaming of a tropical day and craving some island flavors. Please let us know how else we can help as you continue to plan this special vacation.

Wishing you calm seas and warm island breezes,
    Amy
