What is the price difference between a ticket for a child 6 years old and an adult ticket

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Christine. I'm so excited to hear that you are interested in finding out more about Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets. Maybe a trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth is on the horizon - fun!

Christine, the price of theme park tickets at Walt Disney World varies by date and theme park. Because of that, I can't give you a price breakdown of a child's ticket price versus an adult's ticket price. But here's how you can find out.

    1. Visit the Walt Disney World Theme Park Ticket website.
    2. Select the number of days you would like theme park tickets for. The more days you purchase the less expensive the per day rate is.
    3. Select the ticket type. You can choose between a standard theme park ticket that allows entry into one park per day or a park hopper ticket that allows you to visit multiple Walt Disney World Theme Parks in one day.
    4. Next, you'll be prompted to select a date on the calendar that you'll be using the tickets.
    5. Once all of those options are selected you will be able to scroll down and see the price of an adult ticket and the price of a child's ticket
You can absolutely play around with the calendar and different ticket options until you find something that works within your budget. When you've decided, you can go ahead and add it to your cart and then check out.

I hope this helps, Christine. If you have any other questions about Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets or anything else, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help. Also, be sure to follow along with the planDisney Instagram page for the latest updates and fun things happening around Walt Disney World.

    Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
