what would be the price difference between booking a back-to-back cruise on a ship, 4 days each, versus one reservation, 8 days on a ship?

Ahoy there, Lauren, and welcome to planDisney.  I'm glad that you sailed by with your question.

There are so many different itineraries on Disney Cruise Line that you may need to be more specific, but hopefully, I can get you started on narrowing down your choices.  Currently, there are only two 8-Night sailings:  one is an Alaskan Cruise from Vancouver, and the second is a Norwegian Fjords Cruise from Southampton.  Those will be much different than back-to-back 4-Night Bahamian Cruises from Port Canaveral. There will also be differences in price when it comes to the type of stateroom you select and the location of that stateroom.

With so many options, I suggest that you determine where you want to cruise (The Bahamas or Europe maybe?) and the time of year. Then you will know what type of cruises are offered because not all locations have an 8-Night option.  When I have friends who are first-time cruisers, I suggest starting with a shorter itinerary. Then, you can determine if you want to try a longer itinerary or stay with the shorter options.  The Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 itineraries are now available, so you can look into something in the future and pay at your own pace.  There are also some special offers that may pique your interest as well.

Lauren, if you have any other questions, come back to visit us at planDisney.  The sea calls to us, and I hope it calls to you too!
