Hey Howdy Hey Dionna and welcome to planDisney!
Nothing beats a proper plan for a trip to Walt Disney World Resort and I love that you are thinking well ahead to get things started! Disney does have some specifics as to how far in advance you can book your vacation so let's jump in to go over these timetables.
Disney will allow Guests to book room-only reservations up to 499 days in advance of their trip by
calling Disney directly at (407) 939-1936 and speaking to a Cast Member about booking.
Currently, Disney has not released pricing or availability for booking trips into 2023 but keep an eye out as these dates will be released shortly! Disney usually releases the booking availability online in the early summer months, around May or June. So keep a watchful eye out as the release should be coming soon for your vacation dates.
Just to review, with
vacation packages, which include room and tickets, Disney does require a $200 deposit which is fully refundable up until 30 days from your date of arrival. This is also when Disney requires full payment of your vacation, 30 days from your date of arrival as well. You are able to make payments towards your vacation package at your convenience through your
My Disney Experience account as well if that is something you would like to do. But rest assured that when you make your reservation, the prices are locked in!
Now prices being locked in ensure that more often than not, the price you booked for will not go up, but they may come down! No matter when you make your reservations, keep an eye on the
Special Offers Disney releases. You may be able to make your reservation this summer but closer to your dates of travel, may be able to take advantage of these and save a little money! If you see an offer that applies to your vacation specifics, you can either check on your My Disney Experience account or
call Disney to speak to a Cast Member about applying these offers to your trip!
Hopefully, this helps your planning timelines! Have fun planning your trip and if you have any further questions please let us know, we are happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Nick
