Hey there, Daniela! Welcome to planDisney, your one-stop shop for
Disneyland Resort (and beyond!) planning questions. Thanks so much for bringing your question to us. I completely understand wanting clarity around what you can and can’t bring into the parks.
Let’s “stroll” right into this stroller question! I have plenty of memories of pushing my own kids around Disneyland, and even when little ones are a bit older, those little legs can get tired quickly. I looked up the Evenflo Pivot Xplore and found that it’s classified as a stroller wagon. In recent years, Disneyland has prohibited stroller wagons from the theme parks. So, while this option may fall within the size limits, its design means it generally wouldn’t be permitted for use in the parks.
The only exception would be if it qualifies as a “
Stroller as a Wheelchair” accommodation for a child with medical needs or a disability. In that case, you’d need to request a special tag from Security or Guest Services upon arrival, and approval is decided on a case-by-case basis. I know this is probably a bibbidi bobbidi bummer, Daniela, as having the comfort of a stroller you are used to is nice. I recommend checking the
Theme Park Frequently Asked Questions for the most up-to-date policies before your visit. I hope this doesn’t put too much of a damper on your dapper Disney day, but it’s always helpful to know what to expect ahead of time so you can plan accordingly and keep your kiddos comfortable.
I see that your visit is just around the riverbend. You will be visiting during the
Lunar New Year celebration at Disney California Adventure Park. With delicious food options, special character costumes and interactions, and
Mulan's Lunar New Year Procession, it's a fun and vibrant time to visit the Happiest Place on Earth!
Daniela, if you have any other questions as you continue planning, please stop back by, we’re always happy to help!
See ya real soon,
Kimberly
