Previously when we came to Disney we were able to make dining reservations for our entire time when the deadline is reached (currently 60 days). Can we still do that or only for that day and must return each day to make reservations for the next day?

    Hiya, Stephanie!

I'm happy to welcome you to planDisney.  Are you getting excited yet?  Your Walt Disney World Resort visit is just around the corner!  When it comes to planning a Walt Disney World vacation, my favorite part of the process is probably booking my advance dining reservations –– that's definitely when the trip starts feeling "real" for me!  I'm happy to share some details about how the dining reservation process works, so you'll be all set to grab a table when your booking window opens up in a few weeks.

While Walt Disney World advance dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance, Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel or campground have a little extra magic at their disposal.  That's because Disney Resort Guests can make dining reservations for their entire length of stay beginning 60 days from their check-in date (up to 10 days).  If you're arriving on June 26th, that means your booking window for dining reservations opens on April 27, beginning at approximately 5:45 AM EST.

Since you've booked Walt Disney World dining reservations in the past, you probably remember that they can go very quickly once that booking window opens.  I know how frustrating it can be when a specific reservation you're looking for is unavailable, but don't be discouraged if you can't find a certain table right at the 60-day mark.  Reservation availability changes all the time and if you continue to keep checking for a table as your arrival approaches, there's a great chance that something will pop up.  Recently, I've even had great luck finding reservations in the 72-24 hours before I plan to dine, so be sure to take a look for last-minute reservations, well.

Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney, Stephanie.  If we can help with anything else as your vacation approaches, be sure to stop back by!

    Amy
