I previously got DAS due to severe IBS caused by anxiety as I can’t stand in a queue for a long time as I need to go to the bathroom abruptly , with the new changes to DAS will I still be able to avail of it as we’re going in December im not sure

Hey howdy hey, Andrea, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you're looking forward to an exciting Christmastime visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth! You must be getting so excited! I'm so glad you've stopped by to ask this great question, and I'm honored to help!

Andrea, you're right - Disability Access Service will be undergoing some changes to better serve guests who need the service in the near future. While I'm not the one who'd be able to guarantee your ability to use DAS, I recommend that you schedule a call with a Cast Member to learn more about the options available to you. Happily, I can tell you that Walt Disney World Resort does an exceptional job of making all guests feel included, and Cast Members consistently go above and beyond to help guests have a magical experience, regardless of their abilities. Stay tuned for more information about the updates to DAS as it becomes available, and as always, you're welcome to reach out to a helpful Cast Member with any specific questions you have.

Did you know that there are many ways to enjoy the magic at Walt Disney World Resort with low, or no, wait times? Disney Genie+ Service is my family's favorite way to streamline our day - we have three little ones and often travel with our large extended family, so waiting in long lines isn't something we love to do. We also often use Rider Switch Service, which allows certain members of our party to sit out while the others take turns on the attraction. That way, nobody is ever alone, and we can choose who rides and when. We also love taking advantage of Individual Lightning Lanes for attractions like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. And of course, there are plenty of things to see and do that don't involve a queue, like strolling through the World Showcase at EPCOT and watching a parade go by at Magic Kingdom Park. Another essential time-saver for me is Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering on the My Disney Experience Mobile App. I order our food in advance, which keeps my wait time to a minimum when I'm ready to pick it up!

Andrea, I hope you have a wonderful vacation, and I invite you to visit us back here at planDisney with any other question you have as you continue the exciting countdown!

    See you real soon!
