Welcome back to planDisney, Kelly!
I am so relieved you have answered the call for help from the
Magic Kingdom, and you have decided to become one of the
Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom!
If your game was linked to a
MagicBand when you started, you will be able to pick up right where you left off your adventure if you still have the same band of the individual who was bestowed the high honor of being the keyholder. Visit the Firehouse on Main Street, U.S.A., to be sure you have the correct MagicBand and pick up your new spell cards so you can develop your wizardly skills even more. If you don't, you can still defeat Hades, but you will need to start a new game. If you don't want to play a mirror image of the same game you were playing before, and you remember where you started the first time around, you can ask to begin your adventure at a different portal, so you aren't tracing the exact same steps you did the first time around. We have had to start over numerous times, as we have many MagicBands we swap out. We were upset the first time it happened, so I understand - but we didn't have any less fun starting over. We were more experienced and a force to be reckoned with - I have never seen Maleficent so scared as when she saw us walk up to that portal!
Kelly, I have a helpful secret tip for you - from one sorcerer elder to another. You can purchase small trading card binders to store your spell cards, and carry them throughout the park with ease. The books my apprentice wizards use are soft covered, lightweight, and easily fit in their backpacks. Having an easy way to carry and organize those spells means the elder sorcerer (me) doesn't have to keep track of all the cards and whose spells are whose and then have to carry them around with the rest of our supplies and rations during our adventure. The books allow you to display four cards per page - and did you know you can use multiple spells each time you battle one of the villains? You can open your spellbook to the perfect page, flip the others behind, and
cast multiple attacks at once. Take that, Hades!!
I can now rest, knowing the Magic Kingdom will be safe in your hands. Have a magical day, Kelly!
