On previous trips to the Magic Kingdom, my daughters were able to get “pixie dust” sprinkled in their hair at the Castle Couture shop without going to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Are there any locations currently in the park that do this still?

    Hi Kelly!

My daughters also loved a sprinkling of pixie dust on their hair; I enjoyed glittery hair myself a few times.

The Harmony Barber Shop and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique are famous for topping off hair cuts and fancy dos with a spritzing of pixie dust, but a mist of glitter as you walked through a shop was so fun and special. Castle Couture, once the home to princess attire and Cast Members misting royal heads with glitter, is permanently closed and is now an expansion of Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.

Sir Mickey's in Fantasyland is also known to spread pixie dust on princesses' and princes' crowns, but when I've stepped in this shop since Walt Disney World's reopening, there was no evidence of a sweet glitter touch. Covid protocols continue to be updated, however, so stop in Sir Mickey's behind the castle when you visit the Magic Kingdom and see if this magic touch has returned.

I hope you and your family enjoy a royal adventure!
