Hello there, Ray!
Like Jiminy Cricket, I’d be happy to be your guide and talk you through the suggested dining attire aboard Disney Cruise Line. When it comes to everyday cruise attire, I always like to bring a sailor's hat or striped nautical clothing when I’m sailing.
Unfortunately, Ray, the formalwear rentals are no longer available. If you’d like to wear formal attire during your upcoming cruise, you should see if there are local rentals available near your
port. Alternatively, you could try an online rental company and have a tuxedo shipped to you before your cruise. Don’t worry if you aren’t able to find a tux because tuxedos are not required for formal nights, and you could always wear a suit.
My favorite cruise attire is
Pirate Night, where select sailings have a Pirate Menu available during one night of the cruise. I’d recommend packing for the occasion just in case your cruise offers a special menu. Again, pirate attire is completely optional if you don’t feel comfortable dressing like a scallywag. You could easily pull an outfit together with a pirate sash, bandana, sea-worthy shirt, and a pirate hat.
When you arrive at the port, check out the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to see what themed nights are offered during your vacation. I hope these tips help your dreams come true.
May the magic be with you!Melanie
