Hi. I pretty much have a general question. We are heading to Disney World in May 2014 with our 2 girls, 4 & 7. I was wondering what are the MUST DO's with our girls. I have only been to Disney once and that was over 25 years ago! Thanks!

Hi Shenee! I am sure your family is excited about your upcoming trip. It is impossible to cover everything in our short answers but will start you on your way in the planning process.

If your girls are into the princesses please consider getting a princess dining reservation either at Cinderella's Royal Table in the castle or the Akershus Banquet Hall in Epcot. They will meet more at the Epcot event but it is magical to eat in the castle. You might also consider a stop at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for a princess makeover for the girls.

I would also consider a character dining meal for breakfast or dinner.  My favorite is Chef Mickey as you meet all the big five Disney characters and they offer that for both meals.

Be sure and set aside time in all four parks as there are many great things for the ages of your daughters to enjoy. Magic Kingdom would be your main event but even Epcot has some attractions not to be missed for your family such as Turtle Talk With Crush and Soarin (height requirement). My grandchildren love the Animal Kingdom and love to take the train back to Rafiki's Planet Watch to brush and pet the local sheep and goats.

Since it is May and the Florida weather will be quite warm you might consider a day at one of the two water parks on property. I prefer Blizzard Beach for that age as they offer many super water rides for the younger crowd and several wonderful family ones as well that you can enjoy together. I could spend my whole day in the Lazy River!

Start planning a basic plan and let us continue to assist with the details as you move along!
