Is it pretty much always a crazy long line at Be Our Guest & Gaston's Tavern for lunch, assuming you want to eat at a "normal" lunch time? Trying to decide if I should make a lunch ADR elsewhere....don't want to be stuck with hungry kids and

    Hi, Laura!

OK, so here is the scoop on Be Our Guest.  You will pretty much always see a line.  The good news is that the line really does move fairly quickly, so even if you see a line across the bridge you will probably wait less than 30 minutes.

Here is the thing, though.  As beautiful as this location is, my kids really do not love the food!  My kids love a quick, kid-friendly lunch of chicken and fries or pizza.  What we do is get to the Magic Kingdom early.  Our first stop is a quick peek inside Be Our Guest (you can't enter the actual dining room, but you enter the foyer area and get a great view from behind red velvet ropes).  We get to take a few pictures (it is breathtaking in here!) then we are done.  Then for lunch, my kids choose between Quick Service favorites Pinocchio's Village Haus or Cosmic Rays.  Both locations are hits with my kids!

It is up to you if you want to wait, but check out the menu at to decide if the wait is worth it.  Good luck deciding!
