Hi Betty, and welcome to planDisney! I’m always happy to help a fellow Floridian have a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
When it comes to
purchasing Florida Resident Tickets to explore the theme parks, each adult planning to use them must provide their own
proof of residency. Since your granddaughter is a minor, you can buy her ticket using your Florida ID. So, as Mickey might say, “Hot dog!” You can absolutely buy your little Mouseketeer a Florida Resident Ticket!
While you’re thinking about tickets, keep in mind that we Floridians don’t get discounts on 1-Day Tickets, so it’s usually a good idea to buy multiple days. With that in mind, be sure to take a look at Disney’s latest deal for us Sunshine Staters, the
Florida Resident Summer Fun Ticket Offer. You can have fun in the parks for as little as $54 a day plus tax for a 4-Day Ticket! And you have until September 17, 2021, to use them, so you can plan a visit now and save a couple of days for later. Talk about a summer full of magic!
Betty, don’t forget that everyone in your party will also need Disney Park Pass reservations for the theme park you plan to visit each day. You’ll just need to link your tickets to your free
My Disney Experience account, then follow the prompts on the
Disney Park Pass page to make your reservations. If you have any questions about Disney Park Pass, feel free to drop us a line with another question, or
call Disney’s Guest Relations and a Cast Member will be happy to help you.
I’m sure you’re looking forward to taking your granddaughter to the Most Magical Place on Earth, Betty. I wish your family a pixie-dusted adventure, and I hope you’ll come back and see us again real soon!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
