Hi there, Elizabeth!
Ahoy and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your WONDERful adventure will be here before you know it and I am sure you are eagerly anticipating all the fun that awaits you onboard and in
Alaska! My family sets sail from Vancouver next week and we are so looking forward to more pleasant temperatures than we currently have here in Texas!
Inside your stateroom you will find multiple 110V
electrical outlets for you to use. Each stateroom is also equipped with a hairdryer for you to use as well (this is found near the desk area, FYI). Disney Cruise Line does have an extensive list of
prohibited items for Guests to bring onboard and my recommendation would be to leave the purifier and water heater at home as you do not want them confiscated when you arrive at the port for embarkation. If you are in need of hot water, you can access this at the 24-hour drink station onboard OR request it from Room Service which is also available 24-hours a day.
While you are reviewing the prohibited items, I also suggest looking through Disney Cruise Line’s recommended
packing list to ensure that you have all that you will need for your adventure! One thing that I have added to my suitcase for Alaska that I typically do not take are my rain boots! With rain being common during this time of year, I think I will find rain boots to be super handy so I added a pair for each of us!
Wishing you an adventure filled with magical memories that will last a lifetime!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
