Hi Timothy, thanks for visiting planDisney!
The solid green light on your MagicBand+ signifies that
your band is fully charged! That’s great- you’re ready to go to the theme parks and experience the cool new features of the MagicBand+! In my experience, the lights on the MagicBand+ pulse while it is charging. So, when I start to charge it after a full day collecting bounties in
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, it will pulse red, then as it becomes fully charged it will pulse green. I recommend plugging in your MagicBand+ each night when you return to your Disney Resort hotel so it is fully charged the next day.
My family has really enjoyed using our MagicBand+ to wave at the
Disney Fab 50 Character Collection and we’re trying to complete the Disney Fab 50 Quest in the
Play Disney Parks app. The app helps you “collect” the Golden Character Statues that you’ve interacted with in the parks, and we have a blast trying to be the first one in our travel party to find a statue and wave to the character!
Make sure you keep an eye on your MagicBand+ during the
nighttime spectaculars, Timothy. You’ll feel like you’re a part of the show as your band lights up along the fireworks and projections during the performance!
I hope you also get a chance to visit EPCOT for the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts running through February 20, 2023! You can see Broadway stars perform during the
DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series, find art around every corner, and have the opportunity to meet some of the artists who created it. Of course, you can’t miss the culinary art available at the festival booths! Check out the
Disney Parks Blog for the
Disney Eats Foodie Guide for a full breakdown of the festival foods.
I hope you have a fantastic time at Walt Disney World Resort, Timothy! Please
visit me at planDisney again with any planning questions you have.
