Are the press penny machines still 1 quarters and 1 penny? I have a granddaughter that loves to collect them and want to make sure I have enough change with us. Thanks

    Hi, Tamara!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you so much for sending us your question. We are here to help you plan even the smallest details, like making sure your princess gets to add to her pressed penny collection. My youngest daughter also collects these copper treasures and we added to her collection just two weeks ago during our last vacation.

Walt Disney World® Resort pressed pennies are .51 cents each and the machines require two quarters and one penny; the penny you use is the actual penny that gets "pressed," make sure you bring your best pennies to get the best result. I would also bring a quart-sized baggie in your purse to keep her newest pressed pennies in good condition while enjoying your day in the parks. For more information on the location on Coin Press Machines throughout property, just select the highlighted link. This will help you plan out your penny stops.

I hope you find this helpful, Tamara! Please let us know if you should have any additional questions. We'll be more than happy to help with a "penny for your thoughts."
