Aloha, Patricia and thanks for brining your question to planDisney!
Patricia, as I read this question in frigid temperatures with snow covering the ground, a trip to
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa seems just like the adventure my heart desires and it sounds like you’re planning to make your dream come true soon!
I’m so excited for you to channel your inner Moana and set sails on that horizon, so let’s talk about what’s needed to see the
line where the sky meets the sea.
Patricia, my first recommendation is to check out the requirements from the state of Hawaii for all travelers. Currently there are stipulations for quarantine and/or a negative test result for each member of your party. If you visit www.gohawaii.com/travel-requirements and https://www.hawaiitourismauthority.org/covid-19-updates/ you can carefully read what is expected and required and plan accordingly.
Next, I’ll direct you to this
Aulani Resort: Know Before You Go page. Here you can peruse all of the enhanced health and safety measures you’ll see once you arrive.
While there are steps to take in advance of your trip, it’s important to note that
face coverings are required for all guests ages 2 and older unless swimming or dining. (When eating or drinking without a face covering you must remain stationary and adhere to physical distancing guidelines.)
Patricia, I hope this helps as you’re planning to get on island time and dip your toes into the waters of the Pacific. As you continue to plan, make sure to download the
New Aulani Resort Mobile App. With this tool you can access online check-in, view daily activities and more! Please swim on back to planDisney with any additional questions you might have.
There’s just no telling how far you’ll go! Lauren
