Can you take prescription milkshakes for an eating disorder on your cruise ships?

Welcome to planDisney, Kathryn.  Thank you for bringing your important question to us.

I checked with Disney Cruise Line Help Center, who shared that food products brought onboard must be unopened and in their original packaging.  I'm not sure if the milkshake is pre-made or not, but if it is not, you will not be able to bring a blender onboard because it is prohibited.  There is a small refrigerator in each stateroom, but crew members cannot store nor refrigerate any items, including medications.  You will not be able to disembark with an open food container at the end of your sailing.

Kathryn, I hope this helps you plan for your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation.  Prescription medications should be placed in carry-on bags and not checked luggage. Once you hand your checked luggage over to the porters, you will not see it again until later in the day.  If you have any other questions, sail back to planDisney for answers.
