Welcome, Adrienne, to planDisney!
I am glad you came to the panel with your
Disability Access Service (DAS) registration question. Before starting the registration process for DAS, you and your family want to ensure that all tickets for your party are linked to the same Disneyland Account. Once done, ensure the person requesting DAS is available for a video chat with a Cast Member. The DAS video chat is available 2-30 days before your trip and from 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM Pacific Time daily. To access the video chat, visit the
DAS Registration webpage during these hours.
Concerning if a minor needs to have a legal guardian present during the video chat, no, the person does not need to be a legal guardian, and you, as the grandparent, may assist your grandchild with the video chat.
And before I let you go, you still have a couple of months before your trip to plan some of the dining experiences you and your family may want to enjoy. I’m a big fan of character dining, and there are several options throughout the resort, including
Goofy’s Kitchen. Definitely worth your consideration, as there is something special about enjoying a meal surrounded by beloved Disney characters.
I hope you and your family have a blast next year at the
Happiest Place on Earth!
Best wishes,
Lola
