Hi there, Apple!
Welcome aboard and thanks for your question! Six years old is an amazing age for a Disney Cruise, your kiddo is going to have such a blast!
You have the option to pre-register kids for
Disney's Oceaneer Club and
Disney's Oceaneer Lab during your
online check-in, which it sounds like you've already done. Nice work! Guests complete their registration on Embarkation Day by visiting the clubs in person so that parents can do some final paperwork and kids can get the wristband needed to access the club areas. Currently, it isn't necessary (or possible) to register your child for specific activities or reserve a particular time. Just come ready to play!
The schedule for activities is in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App! Activities are listed by starting time and it's a good idea to arrive a little bit early so your child doesn't miss any of the magic. My kids like to look through the app with us at dinner to decide what to do the next day. The app will also show you all the other activities across the ship like family trivia, character meetings, movies, and shows!
Another favorite planning resource at my house is the
"My Disney Cruise Adventure" free downloadable booklet. My daughter was about the same age as your child for her first cruise, and the booklet helped her learn all about cruising! She loved learning some of the nautical words she would hear on board, and it was a fun way to explain some of the safety information for cruising. Plus the coloring pages are darling!
It sounds like you're just about ready to set sail, Apple! I hope you and your little Mouseketeer will have a fabulous adventure on the high seas.
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
