Hiya Rochelle - welcome back to planDisney!
Thanks for stopping by with another question for our team of panelists. We love helping Guests just like you plan your very own, very magical, Walt Disney World Resort vacations!
Rochelle, based on the other questions you've had answered, it looks like you've got most of the basics down when it comes to the
Disability Access Service (DAS) at the Walt Disney World Resort, so I'll jump right in and address this particular question.
First, I want to clarify that there are different policies for DAS-registered Guests compared to the other Guests in their party who want to experience attractions with them. For anyone in the party to access an attraction through either a DAS return time selection or DAS Advance selection, the DAS-registered Guest must experience the attraction and enter first. If the person who no longer wants to experience a particular attraction in your example is the DAS-registered Guest, then no one in the party will be able to experience the attraction.
However, if it's one of the (up to five) additional Guests, that's a different story. As long as the DAS-registered Guest is still experiencing the attraction, you should have no problem swapping out one of the other Guests that want to accompany them from your planning party. To be perfectly honest, Rochelle, I can't recall if that's something you'll be able to modify yourself right within the My Disney Experience Mobile App or not. If not, just ask a Cast Member at an attraction entrance or find a Guest Experience Team Cast Member and they'll help sort it out for you!
It's so exciting that your trip is right around the corner - don't miss all the amazing bites and sips at the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival!
See ya real soon,
Ryan J.
