Hi there, Athena! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so happy you thought to visit us with your question.
It won't be long before you are heading out for an adventure at sea! How exciting! You may begin the registration process for your daughter for
Disney's Oceaneer Club and Lab when your online check-in begins. For first-time guests of Disney Cruise Line, online check-in is available beginning 30 days before your sailing at midnight Eastern Standard Time. You will fill out some basic information, select the adults in your travel party who are authorized for pick up and choose a unique password for extra security.
Reservations are not required for Disney's Oceaneer Club or Lab, so once you are on the ship you may simply drop off your daughter when it is time for you to head to dinner. Please note that food is not served in the youth spaces, so it's a good idea to order complimentary
room service or head to the pool-adjacent eateries to feed your daughter before you take her to the youth club.
I do recommend that you attend an
Open House together in the youth spaces on the first day that you are on the ship. This is a great time for her to get comfortable in her surroundings and for you to ask any questions you might have. It's fun to play together as a family too! These areas are usually off-limits for adults, so enjoy the time you can be in these interactive spaces. They are a lot of fun!
Please sail back to planDisney again if you have any further questions. My pals and I are happy to help at any time.
Happy Sailing,
Adrianna
