Hello James,
It's always so great to welcome a fellow British Guest here to planDisney! And of course, it will be my pleasure to offer some zip-a-dee-doo-dah-day guidance on how best a Guest from the United Kingdom may register for the
Disability Access Service (DAS) at Walt Disney World Resort.James, I'm happy to share that only fairly recently have Guests been offered the option to pre-register for the Disability Access Service (DAS) via video chat. However, for the moment, Guests like you and I, from the United Kingdom are not yet able to take advantage of this pre-registration process for the Disability Access Service (DAS) via the
UK-based Walt Disney Travel Company website. It may be useful to know that Guests from the UK are indeed welcome to register for the Disability Access Service (DAS) upon arrival at any Disney Theme Park by simply visiting
Guest Relations.
Plus, you'll be pleased to hear that any Disability Access Service (DAS) that Cast Members provide will be valid for your entire length of stay, which currently is for up to 60-days at Walt Disney World Resort!
James, I feel sure that you'll discover a plethora of pixie-dusted assistance is provided for
Guests with Disabilities at Walt Disney World Resort. I know first-hand from my own family holidays that
Guests living with Cognitive Disabilities are offered such thoughtful, kind, and inclusive accommodations which are all set up to make our precious family time together as magical as possible.
And lastly, should you have any further specific questions about visiting Walt Disney World Resort with a disability, it's always possible to connect with Cast Members via this handy email address:
Disability.services@disneyparks.comPlease don't hesitate to pop back to me here at planDisney! I'm always heigh-ho-happy to help wherever it's possible!
Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
