    Hello! Can I pre-purchase the new MagicBand+ even though we aren't staying at a Disney Resort? I haven't found them online.

    I am very excited like you are about the upcoming release of MagicBand+ in Walt Disney World! The new MagicBand+ will do everything that a MagicBand does and more! Some exciting new features of the MagicBand+ include customizable color-changing lights, haptic vibrations that bring experiences to life, and gesture recognition. Knowing Disney, I think there will be other magical surprises with the new MagicBand+! Once the MagicBand+ official launch date is announced, it should be on sale online at shopDisney or in the Walt Disney World theme parks and stores at the Walt Disney World Resort. I have not heard of any pre-purchase of MagicBand+ opportunities yet.

    The specific launch date for MagicBand+ has not been announced yet. What has been reported so far is that it will come out sometime this year (2022). I would keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for any announcements on the roll-out of MagicBand+. I will be in line with you to purchase the new MagicBand+ as soon as it becomes available!
