The answer to your question largely depends on whether or not you've already purchased your tickets. That's because you can purchase
Lightning Lane Multi Pass at two points: when you first purchase your theme park tickets or after you scan them to enter a park for the first time.
If you haven't
purchased your park tickets yet then you'll have the option to add Lightning Lane Multi Pass and the Park Hopper option as part of the purchase process. It will also walk you through setting up your theme park reservations for each day of your visit.
If you have already purchased your tickets, then you'll need to wait for the day of your visit. When you arrive, I'd recommend opening the
Disneyland Resort mobile app on your phone to scan your ticket for entry and then tap the home button to purchase your Lightning Lane Multi Pass. After you finish the purchase, it'll be available immediately to start reserving your first return time!
