How much should I pre-plan? I have dinners/entertainment booked. But TBH Im a bit stumped as to what else I should pre-plan. Fast passes sound great (but confusing) so not sure the best way to continue! If I play it by ear will I kick myself when Im there?

    Hi Valentina!

I'm glad you found the Disney Parks Moms Panel! While planning a Walt Disney World Resort can seem overwhelming at times, we are here to help you!

It sounds like you are off to a great start with your Advance Dining Reservations already completed. Planning a few special meals for your trip is a perfect way to incorporate some relaxation (and delicious food!) into your vacation. Personally, I like to plan one table service meal per day. This gives our family a chance to sit, relax and talk about our day, and also leaves plenty of time for park touring.

FastPass+ is a great idea for planning, as well. With FastPass+, you'll be able to reserve a time at up to 3 Walt Disney World attractions each day. Each park offers unique rides and experiences that you and your family will love. Of course, there is no pressure. If you reserve your attraction time(s) and later change your mind, you can simply log onto the My Disney Experience mobile app and adjust your plans. This way, you'll have some times reserved but can still be flexible if your park touring plans change. Since FastPass+ is complimentary, there isn't a reason to skip these reservations.

As an added bonus, looking through each theme park's attraction list will help you determine what your family's top wish-list attractions might be. This may also give you ideas for your park touring plan, even if you decide to skip FastPass+ reservations. Before your vacation, you can check out things like height restrictions, thrill level, and any accessibility or advisories for attractions. This is all great information to browse through before you arrive. It will also help the whole family become even more excited for your trip!

One other pre-arrival planning item is Disney's Magical Express. If you plan to arrive via air travel to Orlando International Airport, you'll want to be sure to arrange for this complimentary transportation to your Walt Disney World Resort. Not only will this service transport you directly to your resort, but they'll also take care of your luggage too! That's a stress-free way to start your vacation!

Please don't hesitate to ask the Disney Parks Moms Panel for help planning any additional details! We'd love to help!
