    Can I pre-pay to rent scooters, or can I have them dropped of at the rental or pic-pick-up?

    Hi Rose! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney! The Disneyland Resort has a wonderful way of ensuring that all Guests feel and experience the magic in a way that is most comfortable for them. 

    There are an array of services offered to those that might need some additional support, and there are a few options for EVC and Wheelchair rentals. You can rent them daily directly at the Disneyland Resort just east of the Disneyland Park Main Entrance. These are on a first-come, first-served basis and the booth opens about an hour before park opening. We do recommend that you get there early if you are looking to secure one!

    If you are looking to rent one for your length of stay and you are a Guest of a Disneyland Resort Hotel, we recommend using ScooterBug, a private mobility rental company in Anaheim. You can pre-order and have it delivered to the hotel directly by visiting ScooterBug.com/Anaheim or giving them a call at (800) 726-8284. Easier than you can say Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo! 

    I love to let our Guests know that some attractions will require a transfer to a wheelchair (which will be provided), a transfer to a ride vehicle, or for the Guest to be fully ambulatory. I think it's helpful to review these attractions ahead of time so you have an idea of what to expect at each.

    If you plan to use the Disneyland Mobile App while in the parks, the Genie can even help you schedule your day based on accessibility! You can even start planning now! Open up your mobile app and tap the "+" in the bottom navigation bar. Choose " View My Genie Day and Tip Board". Toggle to the "My Day" tab and you will see "Your Best Disney Day Awaits". Click "Get Started" and Genie will walk you through a series of questions where you tell him your must-do attractions, your interests (think Disney Princesses or Fireworks or dining favorites) and then you will see the option to include Accessibility considerations in the results! At 7 a.m. on your park day, Genie will drop a personalized itinerary into your app AND make live updates as you move through your day. You've truly never experienced a friend like this before! And the best part, this service is a wish granted and completely complimentary! 

    If you are considering adding Genie + to your tickets, look out! You will be one jump ahead of the standby queue at almost every turn. With Genie+ you will get access to time-saving Lightning Lanes on select attractions. I recently used Genie+ at Disneyland and it truly made my day magically seamless! If you have Park Hopper tickets, you can even make Lightning Lane selections across parks. On top of it all, you also get unlimited digital downloads of all the Disney PhotoPass photos taken that day. What better way to remember those forever memories!
