If you have to prepay for Cinderella’s Royal Table but you have the dining plan and want to use two table service credits for it will your credit card be refunded when the dining credits are applied? How do you go about using your two table service credits

    Hi Deborah,

Welcome to planDisney!  I'm so glad you stopped by today with your question about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation next year.

I like that you are looking into dining like royalty at Cinderella's Royal Table at Magic Kingdom Park.  If you haven't experienced this dining venue before, you will be astonished at how you are literally transporting yourself into a fairytale.  Over the years my family has dined there on several occasions and it has always been an experience fit for a storybook.

So many Guests like yourself are excited for the return of the Disney Dining Plan next year, and you can count me in that group, too!  In order to answer your question, I want you to know that practices may evolve between today and when you are able to make your advanced dining reservations for Cinderella's Royal Table.  Currently, according to a helpful Cast Member that I contacted, Guests will be required to prepay for Cinderella's Royal Table in order to secure a reservation.  Then when the Magical day arrives and you are seated at your royal table, you can inform your server that you would like to use your Disney Dining Plan to pay.  2 Dining Credits will be deducted for every member in your party and your credit card that you used to prepay will be reimbursed for the amount that you prepaid.  The last time my family dined at Cinderella's Royal Table and utilized the Disney Dining Plan to pay, that was how it worked for us as well.

One other thing that I want to mention is that reservations at Cinderella's Royal Table are highly sought after, so it's a good idea to note the exact day in which you can begin making reservations and try to get a reservation just as soon as you are eligible.  Currently, Guests may make reservations beginning 60 days in advance of their arrival and if they are a Guest staying at a Disney Resort Collection hotel, they have the added benefit of making advanced dining reservations for the duration of their stay, up to 10 days.

Have a Magical vacation, and please let us know if you have any more questions!

    See Ya Real Soon,
    Brenda
