Hi there, Tiffany!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! What an adventure you have awaiting you on the Mediterranean aboard the
Disney Magic! My family sailed a seven-night Mediterranean itinerary and it was fantastic – busy but so worth it!
You will not be issued Magic Bands for your sailing; instead each Guest will be given a Key to the World Card which acts as your stateroom key, used to charge onboard purchases and will also be swiped each time you exit and re-enter the ship at a port of call. You will have this on you most of the time, so a lanyard comes in handy! Or keep it tucked away with your passports when venturing off the ship so it doesn’t get misplaced!
There are so many wonderful things to see and do at the ports you will be visiting and it can be hard to narrow down what to see or do with a limited amount of time there! Some of the things that I highly suggest not missing out on include visiting
Pompeii and exploring Rome to the max! With a large group traveling, you may want to consider a private car(s) for Rome to get to see all the highlights during your time there. The cost of the
private car service may be justified with such a large group traveling together and will allow for you to see exactly what you want to see – or not see while there. We chose to do this and it was great because we did not feel rushed at certain spots that we wanted to spend a little longer at as opposed to a large group tour.
No matter what you choose to do, you will have a wonderful time because how could you NOT when touring Europe!?!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
