In preparation for my 7 yr old daughters 1st trip to disney, I purchased at the disneystore.com an autograph book. It only had 15 spots for signatures. Does this sound like enough? If not, can more books be purchased at the resort and where? Thanks!!!

    Hi Jill,

Love that you are planning ahead for your daughter's first trip to Disney World!  I always feel like the more I can accomplish and prepare for before my trip, the more time I'll have to relax and absorb the magic while I'm there.

My youngest son is now on an autograph kick and loves getting as many as he can.  However, during his first trips, he was more into the rides and attractions than waiting in lines for autographs so 15 spots would have been plenty for him.

It sounds like you may have purchased one of the autograph books that holds a picture on one side and a place for an autograph on the other.  Those are super cute! I'd take it and start with it.  If for some reason you see that she'll need spaces for more autographs, the autograph books are usually easy to find in the resort gift shops as well as many merchandise locations all over the parks.

Wider pens are easier for most of the characters to sign autographs with so if you didn't order a pen with her book, you may want to stop by a merchandise location and pick up one.  The last time I was there, they were $3.95 each. Sharpies work well too but check to make sure they won't bleed through the pages of her book before you go.

Make sure you stop by any Guest Relations location and pick up a "1st Visit" button for your daughter.  A great free souvenEAR to start her trip off with a little pixie dust.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
