Ahoy, Miranda, and welcome to planDisney! You’ve already taken advantage of one of my top tips, so I feel like we’re already connected.
Rest assured, if you pre-paid for the unlimited photo package, it will be available for your entire trip (even though you may only see it listed on Day 1 of your itinerary). I can’t say for sure, but chances are once you’re on the ship and looking at your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, that package will appear on each subsequent day of your schedule. As long as you’re seeing it linked to your reservation, the Cast Members and professional photographers onboard will see it too.
Now all that’s left to do is take as many pictures as possible! Start by snapping a shot with your entire travel party at the port before boarding (that’s the day I usually plan to wear matching Disney t-shirts with the friends and family I’m traveling with). Then, look for the photo backdrops that appear in the Grand Hall before dinner on select evenings. Speaking of dinner, keep an eye out for photographers who will visit your table to grab individual portraits and group pictures. And of course, you won’t want to miss all the photo ops at
Character Greetings and ports of call.
Some of my other favorite photo spots include on the top deck in front of the red forward funnel, sitting inside one of the large porthole windows, leaning against the spiral staircase before dining, and standing on the beach at Castaway Cay with the ship in the background
You can
view and download your purchased photos in the DCL Navigator app or online. If you wish to purchase additional prints to commemorate your voyage, make sure to do that while you are still on the ship. It might also be helpful to reference this
photo FAQ page.
Speaking of frequently asked questions, if something else comes to mind that you can’t find on there, I hope you’ll come back and visit us again here at
planDisney. Enjoy your trip, Miranda!
Embrace the magic,
Sami
