Hello Rachel! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
While it happens very rarely, there have been a few instances where Magic Kingdom has been closed to any additional Guests due to capacity. Fortunately, Walt Disney World Resort does what they can to ensure that as many people as possible are able toe experience the Endless Magic.
The Theme Parks at Walt Disney World Resort begin to limit access to any new Guests entering through the Main Gates in phases once they are nearing maximum capacity. The reason for these phases is to ensure that Guests with previously booked
Advanced Dining Reservations, appointments for makeovers at
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and T
he Pirates League or
Events or Tours are still able to make their scheduled experiences.
The highest phase of closures restricts any and all Guests from entering (including Guests with Advanced Dining Reservations) however, there has been only one recorded instance of a maximum capacity closure at that level in the last 10 years.
While your Advanced Dining Reservations at
Cinderella's Royal Table should ensure your entry on Christmas Day, if you are still concerned about this matter you may discuss it with a Dining Specialist Cast Member by calling (407)939-1936.
Have a Very Merry Meal!
