    Hi, can I pre-order magic band and add to my park reservation if I am not staying at Disney Resort? I got park ticket and made reservation at Epcot for Oct. Thank you!

    Oh my goodness, your Walt Disney World Resort vacation will be here before you know it! How excited are you?! I bet you have put together such a fabulous vacation for your family, so I'm sure you will earn some serious props for all of your hard work! Plus, if you decide to purchase the awesome new MagicBand+, your trip will be made even more magical by all the exciting ways you can interact with your surroundings in the parks. Be sure to keep an eye out for the 50 golden statues of the Disney Fab 50 Character Collection sprinkled all around all four theme parks. With your MagicBand+, all you need to do is wave your hand, and you’ll hear a special message from your favorite characters. How cool is that?

    I have fabulous news, Rachel! You can absolutely purchase your MagicBand+ ahead of your visit. All you’ll need to do is head over to shopDisney.com, check out what's available and place your order. I took a look, and there are some super cute designs available. I personally have my eye on the Disney's Electrical Light Parade MagicBand+. I just may need to add it to my cart right now!

    Once your brand new MagicBand+ arrives, you’ll need to link it to your My Disney Experience account by following these few simple steps:

    • To start, log into your My Disney Experience app.
    • Then click on “MagicBands and More” from the menu (the three stacked lines on the bottom right corner).
    • From there, scroll down and select “Link Your MagicBand or Card.”
    • On this page, you can type the ID from the back of the band manually. Alternatively, if you’ve purchased the new MagicBand+, you can link it to your account with just a tap by clicking on the “Open Scanner” button.

    How easy is that?!
