Hi Bryn,
Thanks for visiting planDisney! I’ve had the privilege of experiencing The Veranda at the Grand Californian and the former E-Ticket Lounge at the Disneyland Hotel. Both were memorable and magical experiences!
In my experience, Club Level rooms are located on the higher floors at the
Disneyland Hotel (11th floor and above) and at the
Grand Californian (typically the 6th floor). However, the Club Lounge at
Pixar Place Hotel (The Creator’s Club) is located on the second floor, so Club Level rooms at that hotel can be spread across various floors throughout the property. While Club Level rooms don’t necessarily offer a better chance at a theme park view compared to regular premium rooms, they do tend to be on higher floors.
If you're hoping for a specific view, you can call the hotel directly up to 10 days before your arrival to have your request noted. If a room matching your request is available at check-in, Cast Members will do their best to accommodate your preferences.
One of the great perks of Club Level access is the complimentary food served throughout the day. I especially loved taking a midday break in the lounge with my little one—she got to snack and watch Bluey, while I recharged (both literally and figuratively!). The Creator’s Club at Pixar Place Hotel is open from 6:30 AM to 8:00 PM.
And don’t forget, one of the best parts of Club Level access is fireworks viewing! While you won’t be able to see them from The Creator’s Club itself, you can head down to the third-floor pool deck, which offers a great view of the Disneyland fireworks. All three hotels broadcast the accompanying music and dialogue, so you can still enjoy the full experience, even if you’re not inside the park.
I hope this information was helpful, Bryn! If you have any more questions or need additional tips, feel free to reach out to me or any of my fellow planDisney panelists. We’re always here to help sprinkle a little extra pixie dust on your Disney adventure.
Happy planning!
