Howdy Mitchell and welcome to planDisney!
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is my favorite Walt Disney World Resort! We have either been camping in an RV or relaxing in the cabins since I was a little girl and I just love bringing my family to experience the same joy I had sleeping under the stars. Whether it's pitching a tent or rolling up to a cabin, we always have the best time at Fort Wilderness.
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are an added benefit to Guests who are staying in
Disney Deluxe Resort hotels or villas. Fort Wilderness is in the
Moderate Resort category, so unfortunately, Guests staying at the campground are not eligible for this benefit.
Early Theme Park Entry is available to Guests staying at any Disney Resort hotel, so you can take advantage of that extra 30 minutes in the theme park of your choice. We are not a morning family, so it's rare that you will see us at rope drop, or before, but that extra 30 minutes makes a big difference when you're starting out the day.
I see your vacation is coming up in a couple of weeks, which is so exciting! If you haven't already done so, I highly recommend
renting a golf cart during your stay at Fort Wilderness. They are the most convenient mode of transportation around the Resort and the most fun! You can access more of the amenities because the golf carts can go where cars can't. My family loves to go riding around after dark to check out all of the beautiful lights and inflatables that other campers have set up. Reservations can be made in advance by calling the Resort.
Please stop back by if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
Leslie
