What are the premium amenities & services inc lured with booking a Concierge Cabin?

Ahoy there, Jean! Welcome aboard planDisney!

Ah, thinking of living the DREAM when it comes to sailing not only on what I believe to be the best cruise line out there, but taking it to another level by booking a Concierge stateroom? Consider me 99 percent happy for you and your crew and just one percent jealous. Haha!

There's so much already included in a Disney Cruise Line vacation, and while my family has never had the pleasure of staying in a Concierge-level stateroom, I have had the chance to tour them and the areas that are only available to Concierge Guests! I can honestly say we'll do it one day for so many reasons, but since you've asked, I was able to track down a list of all the magical extras that come with reserving these staterooms! Now, exact amenities vary from ship to ship, but you can expect these in each:

    • Down Duvets: Enjoy a superlative night’s sleep with the softness of genuine feather duvets, featured in Concierge main bedrooms - including a Pillow Menu!
    • Personal Robe and slippers for use while aboard the ship
    • Complimentary Wi-Fi Internet Service - the classic ships limit you to 100mb for free, but there's no limit on the Disney Wish!
    • Upgraded bathroom soaps and amenities
    • Access to the Concierge Lounge, which offers complimentary non-alcoholic beverages, cocktail hours, and access to the concierge pool deck!
You'll also have onboard services to help maximize your magic including concierge assistance with reservations like Port Adventures, adult-exclusive dining, spa treatments, and nursery stays, in-suite dining from the concierge in-suite dining menu, dining reservation confirmations and changes, priority tendering in ports of call, updates to your personal itinerary, special occasions and celebration planning, and more!

But aside from all the in-room and onboard services, Concierge services begin before you board the ship and continue throughout your vacation and beyond! Dedicated pre-arrival services allow you to pre-reserve many of your onboard activities and services online days prior to your sail date. You may also inform the Concierge Team of your preferences 130 days prior to sailing, and they will make the bookings on your behalf when the 120-day booking window opens. Requests will be processed in the order in which they are received, and aren't guaranteed, but this puts you at the front of the line for many of the most desirable Port Adventures - like my "white whale," the Cabanas at Disney Castaway Cay!

    One day, Andrew, one day...

I definitely suggest reviewing the slight differences from ship to ship by checking out the Disney Cruise Line website pages for the Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Wish concierge stateroom details which may help you determine which ship, departure port, and itinerary you'd like to book!

Whew, I worked up an appetite just looking at all this, Jean! Hopefully, I've charted a course to help with your decision. Thank you so much for your question, and if you have any others as you continue your planning, please drop me another line here at planDisney!

    Fair winds and following seas!
