Hello Mom-to-Be!
Congratulations on your future little Mouseketeer! You will be in good company during your visit to the Disneyland Resort as you will see many pregnant women and new parents. Each of these new and soon-to-be moms all need to pay for their
admission ticket into either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park.
You are probably thinking "But I cannot do anything since I am pregnant!" Well I speak from experience when I say there is plenty to do in the theme parks without going on any rides that may not be appropriate for expectant mothers. Here is my list of my favorite things to do....
-SHOP! I love to shop, so when I was pregnant I couldn't get enough shopping done for my new baby. Who can resist those adorable little outfits! I even had a pair of Mouse Ears embroidered as the name reveal for my daughter.
-EAT! OK, I enjoy all the
Disney dining experiences pregnant or not, but I took "eating for 2" very seriously when I was pregnant. No worries, there are plenty of healthy options, and even fruit is available around the parks for a quick snack.
-ENTERTAINMENT! Now I do not mean head to Space Mountain! But you can enjoy some wonderful shows such as World of Color or Fantasmic! Character meet and greets are always fun. It can be your baby's first "unofficial" picture with Mickey Mouse!
-RELAX! Enjoy this time in the parks before baby. Get a cold ice water and watch the world go by! Enjoy the sights and sounds of the lovely theme parks. You deserve some down-time, have fun with it!
Hopefully you will enjoy plenty of magic during your visit. Chat with your doctor prior to your vacation for any travel tips, and make sure to rest your feet and drink plenty of water. Best wishes to you!
