Hiya, Michael,
Welcome back to planDisney. I'm excited you are looking into a magical voyage Where Magic Meets the Sea.
Yes, in many cases, pregnant women are allowed to sail on the Disney Cruise Line. It depends on the timeline of the pregnancy. Because the ships in the Disney Cruise Line fleet are not staffed with obstetricians and equipped for safely handling unexpected, premature births, all pregnant Guests must be early enough in their pregnancy such that they will not have entered their 24th week of pregnancy until after their cruise ends. Guests in their 23rd week or earlier by the end of their cruise are welcome to pack their prenatal vitamins (or any other provisions recommended by their medical providers) and climb aboard for an exciting, or relaxing adventure. The morning of your cruise embarkation day, you will get an email with a link to a mandatory health questionnaire. As part of that questionnaire, you'll be asked to certify that each passenger on your reservation is adequately healthy and within the pregnancy timeline guidelines required.
As for the laptop question, well, I wish they weren't allowed by the Disney Cruise Line. But, alas! They are permitted. Which, sadly, may mean that you could have a few things on it to distract you from the fun you are looking for on your Disney cruise. But I get it. I've had to take my work computer on Disney cruises before too. And our daughter has also brought her school computer along as well, especially for some of the longer cruise itineraries. There are some other appliances, electrical items, and electronics that are prohibited. It's good to be aware of any on that list which may be of interest to you.
Note that the DCL-GUEST Wi-Fi is complimentary to use for the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. But accessing regular Internet sites from laptops or other devices requires the purchase of an onboard Internet plan. I've found the access quite zippy for being out in the middle of the ocean. And I like how I can purchase a plan and share it across multiple devices one at a time. (Multi-device plans are also available to purchase.) Enabling our Internet plan on my mobile phone while in the main dining rooms is handy when I want to look up descriptions of fancy menu items that are unfamiliar to me.
Don't work too hard though, Michael. There are tons of activities to enjoy on your cruise. You don't have to do them all, of course. But I'm confident you're going to enjoy them so much, you'll be asking when you can go again!
Have a great vacation, Michael!
