Hi Megan,
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your Rider Switch question! First and foremost, congratulations on your growing family and your soon-to-arrive little bundle of joy. What a special time for you all, and I can’t think of a more magical way to make some memories with your girls before your newest Mouseketeer arrives!
So Megan, let’s hop right into your question. You’ll be happy to know that
Rider Switch is also available when a Guest in your party can't experience an
attraction or wait in a particular queue because of their individual needs and circumstances, and being pregnant fits that description. Therefore, when you arrive at the attraction, speak with the Cast Member at the front of the attraction and let them know you’d like to use Rider Switch. They can help from there.
Generally, one part of your group, in this case your husband and first daughter, can experience the attraction while your other daughter waits with you, who isn’t riding. Then you can switch so that your other daughter has a chance to ride with your husband without everyone having to wait through the full queue again. It's such a convenient way to make sure your girls still get to enjoy those must-do attractions while keeping everyone comfortable.
And just a little tip from one mom to another: September can still feel very much like summer weather here in Florida! Be sure to bring plenty of water, cooling towels, and portable fans to help everyone stay comfortable. I’d also toss a few ponchos into your park bag because you never know when Tia Pepa might bring one of those classic Florida afternoon showers!
Megan, I hope this helps answer your question and makes planning your visit a little easier. I hope you and your family have the most magical time together before your newest little Mouseketeer arrives. If you have any additional questions, please come back and visit us again.
See you real soon,
Christina
