I am pregnant. Do you guys offer any type of benefits or help for someone who can’t stand in lines very long ?

    Hi, there!

Welcome to planDisney, Emily. I'm happy you stopped by and so delighted to hear you're expecting a little Mouseketeer! What wonderful news.

I visited the Walt Disney World Resort when I was pregnant with my daughter, and we joke that that's why she's a little bit of pixie dust at home! I remember not feeling very well on that visit (pregnancy is no joke, right?), but I also remember feeling like there was no place I'd rather be. The Walt Disney World Resort offers lots of family-friendly services that make exploring the theme parks with a little one or a baby bump easy breezy. Let's chat!

While there is not a complimentary service designed to minimize wait times for expectant mothers, I can tell you that purchasing Disney Genie+ for your visit will certainly do just that! With Disney Genie+ service, you can select a booking window for an attraction, and then when that window opens up, you can head to the attraction and enter through the Lightning Lane entrance, minimizing the time you have to spend on your feet in the queue. What's not to love about that?

Did you know there's a conveniently located Baby Care Center in each of the theme parks? The Baby Care Center is the perfect place to put your feet up and enjoy an air-conditioned break amid your pixie-dusted adventures. Each theme park also features a First Aid Center! If you need any kind of quick remedy, head there for the help of a friendly nurse.

Staying hydrated while you're expecting is always important, but especially so under the Orlando sun. You're welcome to bring your own bottled water into the theme parks, but you can also stop by any Quick-Service dining location to request complimentary ice water!

Exploring the theme parks requires a lot of walking and I know my legs (and poor feet!) tired quickly when I was pregnant. If you find the walking to be too much, I encourage you to rent a wheelchair or an Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV). You can find a rental location at the entrance of each theme park.

Lastly, be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app. Even if you decide not to purchase Disney Genie+ service for your visit, you'll still find the app super handy! You can use the app to check current wait times for attractions, place Mobile Food and Beverage Orders, locate nearby restrooms, and preview Disney PhotoPass photos of you and your precious bump.

I hope this was helpful, Emily. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! We'd love to help you plan a magical stay.
