I will be 8m pregnant when we go to Disney in May 2017. I am considering renting a scooter to get around. How crowded is Disney usually the first two weeks of May? I'm nervous about the scooter and crowds...

    Hello again, Jessica!

May is an excellent time to visit Walt Disney World Resort! Not only can you spend your days enjoying theme parks, but experience all the festivities of the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. This past May I spent a few days with fellow Moms Panelists touring the Resort and found the theme parks were busy but not very crowded. Wait times were reasonable, and Complimentary Resort Transportation was efficient. I think you will find that you will have no problems navigating the Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV).

ECV Rentals are available in all four theme parks, both water parks and at Disney Springs. Rentals are first come, first served and reservations are not accepted. Keep in mind that Rentals must remain in the area where rented, so if you think you will need a unit outside a theme park, then you may want to look into renting from an outside source. You will find a list of Disney featured providers at the bottom of the above-linked page.

I hope this helps with your planning, Jessica. Please let is know if you have additional questions!
